Mentor Program
No one should go through this alone.
At Organ Transplant Support, we equip transplant mentors with education, support, and resources so they may provide one-on-one support for pre-transplant patients, transplant recipients, and their families as they go through the transplant journey.
Because no one should go through this journey alone OTS can provide free, confidential support to transplant recipients and their families/caregivers. Our unique matching process partners potential and post-transplant recipients with an OTS mentor.
We encourage anyone going through the transplant process to request a mentor who can understand, listen and support them during this time. We also encourage family members or caregivers of someone who is going through the transplant process to talk to them about requesting mentor support. OTS Mentors do not provide medical advice.

Become A Mentor
Your experience has the power to change someone else’s journey—giving back is one of the most meaningful gifts you can offer.
The OTS Mentor Training Workshop empowers transplant recipients and caregivers to turn their lived experience into meaningful support for others. Whether you’ve undergone a transplant or supported someone through the process, this training helps you develop the skills needed to guide and uplift others navigating similar journeys.
Mentors are trained to provide psychosocial support, empathy and understanding to transplant families.
Pre-transplant patients, transplant recipients, families and caregivers value the information and support shared by those who have been there.
