About our speaker:

Dr. Daniel Friedman is an associate professor and physician at the University of Chicago Medicine, with years of experience in infectious diseases in patients with compromised immune systems.  His clinical and research interests span invasive fungal infections, epidemiology in transplant recipients, and groundbreaking clinical trials on novel antifungals.  He works closely with patients before transplantation, helping to reduce infectious risks and customizing prevention plans for every individual.
