Fatty Liver Before and After Transplant: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a condition is which fat is stored in the liver and causes complications. This condition can exist before & after a liver transplant. Dr. Wolfe will talk about fatty liver disease and the impact of this condition on liver transplant patients.

About the Speaker

Dr. David C. Wolf, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist who has been the Medical Director of the Liver Transplantation Program at Westchester Medical Center since 1996. Dr. Wolfe’s expertise includes transplant hepatology and liver transplantation, plus nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and liver cancer. He has performed over 1,200 liver transplants and he has published over 60 peer reviewed papers.
