Every transplant recipient must take immunosuppressant (antirejection) medications for a lifetime to reduce the risk of rejection for the transplanted organ.

About the Speaker
Dr. Sirotiak received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from St. Louis College in St. Louis, Missouri. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from St. Louis College. Dr. Sirotiak has advanced experience in Nephrology, Anticoagulation, Asthma and COPD, Cholesterol and Cholesterol Research and Oncology. She is currently the Doctor of Pharmacy for Kaiser Permanente Health Care in Southern CA.
